Emissions reduction targets
In order to continue our progress to achieving Net Zero by 2050, we have adopted the following carbon reduction targets in order to reduce emissions by 20% by 2030:
- Move electricity supplies to a supplier who provide 100% renewable energy supplies
- Ensure company cars are all-electric by 2030
Carbon Reduction Projects

The following environmental management measures and projects are to be implemented in the lead up to the final 2024 baseline calculation.
848 group is in the process to moving to electricity supplies provided by an organisation guaranteeing 100% renewable energy and this supplier is anticipated to be in place by January 2026. Non-travel meetings are being actively encouraged to reduce travel requirements (this is backed up by an updated Employee Handbook, specific guidance for employees during individual one-to-one sessions) and the company has actively moved to utilising all-electric company vehicles where possible.
In the future we hope to implement further measures such as:
- Reduction of office space required by 30% reducing electricity/gas/water usage
- Engage with IT systems suppliers who have also committed to Net Zero by 2050 so as to reduce Scope 3 emissions
- Utilisation of carbon offsetting where appropriate to increase the pace at which Net Zero is accomplished
Declaration and Sign Off
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 06/21 and associated guidance and reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans.
Emissions will be reported and recorded in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the GHG Reporting Protocol corporate standard and uses the appropriate Government emission conversion factors for greenhouse gas company reporting.
Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions will be reported in accordance with SECR requirements, and the required subset of Scope 3 emissions will be reported in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the Corporate Value Chain (Scope 3) Standard.
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been reviewed and signed off by the board of directors (or equivalent management body).
